How To Edit Your Profile

How To Edit Your Profile
As you can see the newly redesigned BCMS website is now up and running.  Recently, you received by email a “temporary” password that will assist you the first time you login.  Once you have logged into your profile, please DO change your password to one that you like to use.  If you cannot find or didn’t receive a “temporary” password, please contact Anita at aalbrecht@atcd.net or call
720-273-2554 to assist you in accessing your Profile for the first time.  You can then make any changes you wish.

At this time, those who purchased a pictorial listing in the Physician’s Directory are those who appear with profiles on the new BCMS website.  If you did not purchase a listing in the last directory and would like to be included on the website, you can contact the BCMS office at 303-527-3215 to find out what you need to do to get a profile on the site.

How To Edit Your Profile
You may make changes to your profile at any time.  Contact information for patients can be different than that provided for fellow physicians and their office staff.  However, please remember that the communications tools will be connected to the professional email contact you provide.

• Go to www.bcms.net
• Click orange Log in button on the right side of the screen just above the orange bar
This opens your login page:
o Enter your email address and password and click the log in button below
The first time you log in you will be prompted to change your password on your first visit to ensure security.
• Click the orange My Account link that appears on the right side of the page to take you to your profile for editing. You must open your full profile to edit.
• At the top of the page are two tabs for viewing and editing the profile – click edit to make changes.
• Along the top you will now find categories for updates.

NOTE:  BE SURE to Click the “save” button at the bottom of the pages to save any new information you post.

Account
Here you will find: administration contact email, passwords, photo, specialties and hospital privileges, which can be selected from drop down menus by clicking the downward arrow to the right of the field; highlighting the specialty or hospital and clicking the “add” button. Any photo on your computer desktop can be located from the browse button and uploaded. We highly recommend that you upload a photo as our feedback in other counties shows a strong user preference for profiles with photos.

This section also holds a “personal contact form” that allows for fast non-HIPAA- compliant communication between physicians.

Peer to Peer (information not accessible by the public)
Here you will find: professional profile email, licensing numbers, back office and personal contact, practice manager, and space for a brief statement about yourself and your professional experience for fellow physicians.

Personal Information
Here you will find: name and titles

Practice
Here you will find: practice name, address and contact information

Professional Information (Public information)
Here you will find: space for a statement about yourself for and your professional experience for the public, certifications, education, awards and a place to list the insurance accepted by your office.  This last section is very important since it is one of the prime criteria for insured patients choosing a physician. We highly recommend that you provide accepted insurance as our feedback in other counties shows a strong consumer preference for profiles with this information listed.

Click the “save” button at the bottom of the pages to save the information.
